The effect of the mandometer method in the treatment of eating disorders and obesity

Eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa are a serious health problem in adolescents, especially for girls. At the same time, the problem of excessive obesity and obesity has grown into a public health problem.

The mandometer method was developed as part of the treatment of eating disorders to teach patients to normalize their eating behavior and to recognize their hunger signals using a computer, a Mandometer. This method is now used to treat both eating disorders and obesity in specialized clinics.
