Background
Allthough many people still do well at an advanced age, the risk of illness and disability increases with age. Impaired health causes suffering for the individual, and generates consumption of resources in health care and costs for society. Thus, promoting health and preventing health problems can contribute to both a higher quality of life at the individual level and lower costs at the societal level. With this survey, we want to map which interventions for behavioural change, in order to promote health in the elderly, that have been evaluated in research.
