Identification of evidence gaps

In an assessment, SBU scrutinizes the research published on a specific topic. Sometimes, based on the available evidence, it is not possible to determine whether a treatment is effective. Information about research topics in which knowledge gaps, or scientific uncertainties, have been identified, is stored in a database on SBU’s website.
